Can A Left Bundle Branch Block Be Cured?
Question: Hi,
I'm a medical underwriter from Bajaj Allianz. We had received a proposal of a client aged 61 yrs and we had advised our routine medical tests in view of the age. As per the information, client had undergone Both eyes cataract surgery in 2012 and had done a prostate surgery done few years back for which the client doesn't have any details with him now. The main concern I have here is about his ECG report which shows LBBB. Kinldy suggest on this ECG reporting

Brief Answer:
Needs stress thallium scan to rule out coronary artery disease
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
There is no ecg attached, so should try again to reupload it.
However, LBBB can occur with coronary artery disease and sometimes just an age related change due to high blood pressure. So need to rule out coronary artery disease and needs echocardiography and stress thallium. If stress thallium is not available, then ct coronary angiography can also be done. If any of these shows abnormalities then need to do coronary angiography. So patient can't be cleared at this moment.
Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.
