Brief Answer:
Get genetic counselling and CMA

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
As this is the third time that there was no foetal heart beat, it indicates a chemical pregnancy and the most common causes being congenital anomalies , aneuploidies, or genetic diseases which makes the foetus unfit for survival and hence no arrival of heart beat.
Please get a karyotypig and genetic counselling done for both of you as a couple and also if required opt for CMA analysis ( CHROMOSOMAL MICRO ARRAY analysis) which can detect as much as 53-80 genetic diseases running in family and which can be transferred to kids. So meet a counsellor , before planning for next pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
She did the right thing in an attempt to support the pregnancy but arrival of heart beat is completely natural and no one can do anything with it. The medicines were started in anticipation. Hence suggesting genetic counselling for you both.
