Rectus Abdominis is a muscle of the abdominal wall.It is present on either side of midline of the body.If the distance between these two muscles on either side is 2.7cms or more,it is called Diastasis recti.
It can be diagnosed clinically.Ultrasound Abdomen will give a clue.
But,CT Scan will confirm the diagnosis.

I was told this is rare in men. I think i have this condition. Does doing lots if sit-ups cause this in men . Thanks, XXXXXXX
