Thank you so much for that validation. Although I take mucinex (guaffinesin), it puzzles me as to why sometimes it makes it go away, and sometimes not. That also explains why I have it more often at night or after a big meal and almost always after eating anything acid like tomato sauce. So should I take something like Prevacid or aciphex, or would malanta or tums or milk of magnesia be good enough?
