Can Acid Reflux Cause Profuse Sweating And Nausea?

Question: i was at work and suddenly i started heavy sweating, got light headed and everything went out of focus it lasted about 10 mins start to finish but i then felt nausious for 30 mins latter and dizzy if i bent over? after 30 mins i feel fine again? i have a irregular heatbeat from a child it skips a beat every 10 -12 but never had a issue from it and i smoke and am 40 pounds overwieght but i also had a monster energy drink about a hour before it happened is it serious or could it have been a reation to the drink i had never had before... this also never happened before this

Some time perfuse sweating followed by nausea can be because of two more reasons strong acid reflux because of energy drink you had but sweating, in that case, is unlikely which is droppings my attentions towards heart disease.

Considering your age, smoking, overweight and irregular heartbeat problem I will suggest you get a basic cardiac evaluation done to diagnose if any underlying heart disease is present. Kindly get the following tests done :

1. Ecg

2. Echocardiography

3. Holter monitoring for 24-48 hours

4. Treadmill Test

thank you, my grandmother had diabietis and heart disease but no other family history. i have had just under what is considered high blood pressure for years elevated but not at level to be treated for it. the irregular beat was diagnosed at 30 and considered not a issue at that time but i understand that changes with age, i will schedule the tests you recommend asap thank you.
