Question: Sir i suffered from tuberculosis .and my treatment complete 6 months before.i have taken treatment for 1 year.is there any chances for tb again?or my sperm count is low 3million/ml.what tb effects spermcount?my age is 23.

I can understand your concern.
Tuberculosis is an infection caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This bacteria remain in dormant phase even after effective treatment.
So reactivation tuberculosis is seen in future. But it is not seen in all cases.
If you are taking good diet, maintain good immunity than chances of reactivation is very very low.
Reactivation is common in patients with low immunity like diabetic, AIDS patient, patients who are taking steroids etc.
So to prevent reactivation tuberculosis better to maintain good immunity.
Active TB can affect sperm count. But once it is cured, sperm count will increase. So better to search for other causes of low sperm count.
