Can An Infant Be Wrapped In A Blanket?
Question: My grand daughter is 8 months old. Is she old enough to put a blanket or quilt on her to keep her warm, or should I just dress her in extra warm pajamas during the winter? I worry about her being cold. Is it alright to give her a pacifier if she is fussy or cries during the night? She mostly sleeps fairly solidly from about 8:30 p.m to about 5:30 or 6:00 a.m.
Brief Answer:
Good to put a blanket on her. Pacifier only when needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It is okay to put a blanket on her at 8 months. There is no reason too get worried.
I like pacifiers but avoid using them when not really necessary and take them off whenever the baby stops crying.
I wish you and your daughter well.
