Brief Answer:
Less than 0.1%

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The osteonecrosis of jaw is a very rare side effect of injection Prolia but is a serious side effect. It is found in less than 0.1% of patients who receive Prolia and is more commonly seen in women.
The benefits of this treatment in severe osteoporosis are immense.Together, you and your doctor can decide whether the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks as well as other options that make the most sense for you and your unique situation.
I hope this answers your query.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a follow-up question. You may construe it as an independent question and I will pay the additional fee.

My doctor also said that I should discontinue drinking Diet Coke. I believe this is because it contains phosphoric acid and is therefore acidic, which results in depletion of calcium from the bones.

My question is, aren't many foods & drinks acidic, not just Diet Coke? I think most juices are acidic. Should I also reduce or eliminate the consumption of all acidic foods?

Alternatively, could I leave the acidic foods in my diet but increase my consumption of alkaline foods? In this way perhaps my diet as a whole might be brought into ph balance and the depletion of calcium stopped?

Brief Answer:
Yes. It will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Yes. Avoiding all acidic foods in your diet will decrease the calcium depletion from the bones. Avoid all acidic foods and drinks like tomatoes and vinegar.
I would also like to give some advice to make the life better and to fight with osteoarthritis-

Do regular physiotherapy of joints.
Do hot fomentation to decrease the joint stiffness
Hot bath of Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate)-Magnesium has both anti-inflammatory and anti- arthritic properties and it can be absorbed through the skin.

Hope my answer is helpful.
