Can An Unhealthy Diet Cause Tingling And Muscle Spasms In The Legs?
Question: Hello I'm a 26 year old female and have been having tingling and muscle spasms in my legs for quite a while now, I also have random sharp pains through out my head and ringing in my ears along with a strange clicking or rattling in my head. My doctor chalked this up to be an unhealthy diet because my blood sugar was high that day. Does this sound right or should I be more worried? I also have high anxiety so these issues have really been bothering me
Brief Answer:
Probably anxiety
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
Yes,considering you age, this should not be some serious disease and symptoms suggest psychosomatic issue due to anxiety. However, muscle spasms may be sign of lack of magnesium or calcium or vitamin d. so it would be good to have these supplements or check it's levels in blood. Your head symptomatology is also nonspecific and if this persist you can do head CTscan. Healthy diet should always be followed, and emotional stress avoided. Wish you good health. Regards
