Can Anxiety And Depression Cause Night Sweats And Chills?
Consultation
Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.
Anxiety can absolutely cause night sweats and chills during the day. These are known as somatic symptoms of anxiety. Other examples of somatic symptoms of anxiety include tremor, blurry vision, restlessness, paresthesias, difficulty breathing, and focusing on aches and pains. I strongly recommend treatment for anxiety to address these symptoms.

Yes, these are all symptoms of anxiety. Seek treatment for your anxiety with an antidepressant medication such as escitalopram, or with psychotherapy.

Detailed Answer:
Possibly, but this is a very dangerous medication usually reserved for psychotic people with depression. I would instead try an SSRI antidepressant like escitalopram, sertraline, or fluoxetine.
