Can Anxiety And Stress Cause Altered Cortisol Levels?

Question: Hi, I am feeling really anxious and stressed lately and having performance anxiety in the bedroom the last little while. Would it be beneficial to take a cortisol control? I think my adrenals are empty and I can feel my adrenaline while having sex. Can you give me a recommendation for my cortisol levels? Is this the cause of the anxiety?

Best way to achieve this is stop spectatoring ( Stop monitoring what is going on down there but monitoring your partner's body and level of pleasure is helpful,),
Focus on pleasure , do every thing to receive and give pleasure, explore partner' body to the maximum to find what is most arousing to her, tell her what are the turn ons for you, and use these To the hilt.

Thank you for your answer. If I try to eat foods or take a supplement that lowers my cortisol levels will that help aid in the reduction of my anxiety? I am getting really bad anxiety at night when trying to sleep. I get 2-3 hours per night. I do meditate quite a bit and think positive thoughts but some times it's over-bearing.
Please let me know if the reduction of cortisol will help with some of the anxiety.

Reducing anxiety lowers cortisol by which ever method but eating fancy health supplements and foods can be harm ful . Adopt a healthy life style like eat balanced diet, brisk walking for 30-40 minutes, yoga, socialising and avoiding drugs of abuse . If still there is a problem, take anti anxiety drugs like SSRI .

Thanks. The thing is I workout 5-6 days a week, I eat 8 small meals a day and in very good shape. I am very very healthy. The sexual performance anxiety has built up to a certain point where I cannot even cope. My wife left me because of that anxiety and thinking it will happen again with a new girl is killing me. I just need some aid on what I can do for this anxiety disorder. I meditate, breathing exercises etc.
