Can Anxiety Cause All These Symptoms ?

Question: My leg feels weak and i have muscle twitching. Do i have a serious neurological disease? I am a 32 year old new mom, and scared.
3 months ago, i went to bed at night and my whole leg started trembling. I couldn't see anything outside, but inside i could feel my leg shaking strongly! I got really scared that something is wrong. Since then, except from the inner tremor i developed other symptoms including spasms/cramps in left calf muscle, muscle twitches in both legs, weird tingling sensations (paresthesias) in the left leg. Went to a neurologist and she examined me and told me everything looks well and is fatigue and stress. Went to another one for 2nd opinion again she said stress and anxiety, but sent me for MRI brain. It was normal. Thyroid test and electrolytes also normal. I now feel my left leg to be weak when walking. I walk fine, i dont fall and the leg and foot seems to move fine. But i have this feeling that my leg is off, that is stuck. That something is wrong. I am scared my doctors made a mistake. Can anxiety cause all this? And is it considered leg weakness if i just

Brief Answer:
Spinal cord involvement should be cleared first.
Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
Before living the culprit to anxiety, the involvement of the spinal cord at the thoracic or lumbar level should be cleared first.
Compression on the spinal cord such as in the case of a herniated disc, for example, may cause such symptoms since you had a brain MRI and tests that came back normal.
In my opinion, a spinal cord MRI is necessary to evaluate correctly this possibility.
Discuss with your Neurologist these issues.
