Brief Answer:
Effect of azithromycin on CBC

Detailed Answer:
Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic which is used to treat multiple infections.
It has common side effects like allergic reaction, nausea, vomitings, stomach upset, superadded candida infection (thrush),dizziness and at times clostridium difficile associated diarrhoea etc.
It has absolutely no effects on blood counts or neutrophil counts.
There is no effect on Haemoglobin and platelets too.
However, azithromycin may cause live bacterial vaccines (such as typhoid vaccine) to not work as well.
Do not have any immunizations/vaccinations while using this medication unless your doctor tells you to.
Hope that I have answered your query. If you have any doubts, please let me know.
