Can Binge Drinking Cause The Enlargement Of The Heart?

Question: male 73 years old. bp120/75 Had echo 6 weeks ago and ventricles and atria were normal in size and function ef55-60. for 11 yrs have 2 light beers with lunch. Last week under stress, binge drank Thurs, Sat and Sun. Had a pint of brandy each day. On line it says it takes 5.> years do do damage. Is this true? My? is in3days of abuse can the ventricles enlarge? I know it can cause a-fib etc. My /? is simple could this enlarge the ventricles in 3ys days. Please if possible, be specific no yes not maybe etc

3 days of binge drinking cannot enlarge the heart. Very minute changes take place and it takes months to years for the heart to enlarge in size. Please refrain from binge drinking in the future
