Can Chemotherapy Help In Treatment Of Stage 4 Sarcomatoid Carcinoma?
Question: 68 year old male, dx Sarcomatoid carcinoma. Honestly it has spread throughout body, bone, liver and lung involvement. Stage 4. Has fractured right arm...this cancer. The doctors said he could try chemo but honestly what value would it actually give in this situation? I am just a friend of the family but am a registered nurse. They ask me and given situation I don't see how chemo can even be beneficial now. It's not my call..just wanted to be honest with them when they ask me.
