Can Constipation Be Treated And Cured When Miralax Is Leading To Excessive Flatulence?

Wait for 48 to 72 hours.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
As per your queries answer is that Miralax is a laxative which on one hand soften up the stools and on the other hand irritates the intestines. This irritation of intestines lead to rapid contractions in intestines hence causing you to defecate but effect of last dose may last up to 72 hours. So even when the bowels are empty you may feel a urge to defecate due to irritation in intestines.
Solution-
Wait for next 48 to 72 hours. If sensation still persists take an anti spasmodic like dicyclomine 10 mg single dose.
Try to use Fybrogel a natural bulk forming laxative more. It imbibes water swells up and hence add bulk to stools.
Hope I was helpful.
Feel free to follow up.
Thanks!

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Whenever the food with stagnate in your gut a large number of bacteria's would act on it and would cause incomplete fermentation leading to production of large amount of gases causing severe bloating. So you have to treat the root cause that is constipation and that would need time and patience. Initially you have to start with minimum effective dose of Miralax on you that could even be 5ml. So start from small doses and see how you respond to it.
Secondly instead of Miralax initially try natural laxatives like isabghul husk. This won't stimulate your intestine, Is not habit forming. Very effective and completely natural.
Lastly for gas and bloating take tablets of activated charcoal for few days you should also take a probiotic like VSL#3 once daily to improve the enviroment of your gut.
Miralax as such may or may not cause bloating(minor side effect varies from patient to patient).
Thanks
