Can Continuous Intake Of Deviry Cause Irregular Vaginal Spotting?
Question: I am taking Devilry 10mg tablet from past 3months from the fifth day of my period because my doctor suggest me to take this for my irregular periods and heavy bleeding because my endometrial thickness is 7mm but in this month even Iam taking tablet spotting is continued even it is 21st day may I know the reason

Taking deviry continuously for 20 days for 3-4 cycles can cause an irregular spotting due to a hormonal disturbance. Since you are getting a less than optimum bleeding during the periods due to the effect of deviry, the intermittent spotting is seen. This spotting will stop on its own once you stop taking deviry after this cycle.
Taking a combined oral contraceptive pill can regulate your periods in a better way.
