Question: My husband had a mylogram in Aug 2013 on his C-7 T-1 and when they injected the XXXXXXX he felt like his head was going to explode and his right leg at his hip shot backwards then 4 hours later he had a grand mal seizure and has continued to have them. Doctor just found contrast XXXXXXX on his brain on a ct scan. Can the XXXXXXX be removed or will it dissipate? Or will he be considered disabled?

Brief Answer:
Am sorry, this XXXXXXX cannot be washed out.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about what your husband experienced during his exam. It is very rare as a side effect and for him to have come down with this should be something very very disturbing. I understand your fears, they are genuine and of course would not leave any one indifferent in your position.

Unfortunately, there is no way this XXXXXXX can be flushed out of his brain. This product has been fixated to this area of the brain and the damage done already. He would have to live with this problem all his life. Should something ever change, it would be by a natural process that no physician is able to forecast or comment on right now.

Managing these seizures with anti seizure medications is the best option to pursue at this time. Talk to his doctors and hear what the intended plan is.

I hope this helps. I wish your husband well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarification if need be.
