Can Diabetic Cause Hair Thinning?
Question: My sister who is 40 years old and is diabetic is off late suffering from hair thinning . Earlier her hair quality and length was good but over the years it has detoriated but off late hair have become too thin . Though she eats good diet and sugar is in control but still the hair quality is bad . Please suggest some good effective treatment to regain good quality and growth of her hair

I thshe may need to do get checked doing a total blood count with formula and thyroid profile.
Sometimes anemia and low thyroid may be the main issues of hair fall and hair thinning.
Also she may not take supplements of biotin, zinc and selenium.
If nothing works she may use minoxidil to apply into scalp. Also plasma therapy at doctor's office may be helpful.
