Can Emergency Pills Decrease The Effect Of Regular Contraceptive Pills?
Question: I started taking the combined pill on the 10th July. I then had unprotected sex on the 15th so I took emergency contraception. I then had unprotected sex on the 19th July. I am wondering whether I need to take the emergency contraception again? I was instructed that I will be protected after 7 days of taking the pill, but i wonder if having taken the emergency contraception on the 15th it will make me less protected.
