Can Excessive Crying Cause Any Problem In Children?
Question: Will making a baby cry hurt them? My youngest daughter is VERY vocal. Is 13 months old and has a strong personality. If we say no, she can't have something, she screams and throws a BIG fit. I don't want to cave and give in or else she will be spoiled... I'm afraid crying so hard will be bad for her. Advice?
Brief Answer:
Try removing fron the area
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writingto health care magic.
You need to be strict. Never cave in.
But at the same time, excessive crying may lead to fainting sometimes.
Try removing her from the scene where she is showing temper tantrums.
Keep rewarding her for behaving well, at the same time do not punish or beat if she is adamant.
Tell her how good kids behave . Repeated counselling should definitely help your daughter to behave well.

So other than the potential of fainting, no other really serious side effects can happen? I know it sounds silly but I always fear something rupturing from how hard she cries.

Dont worry
Detailed Answer:
