Can Gripe Water Turn The Baby's Tongue Black?

Question: my son is 5 weeks old and has a very black tounge from the grip water and he is more fussy then usual. He is full of gas but does not have # 2 often unless he is given prune juice. What should I do for both these issues.

All the symptoms mentioned by you are probably due to some systemic disease. The tongue discoloration can also be due to some cause not related to tongue.
