I don't know if that what it is but I diagnosed myself. still 8 years later I get a muscle twisting pain at right lower rib cage center chest. That puts me on the floor. No doctor can tell me. I have had my heart checked. Have had gall bladder ultra sound done. Do have polyps in g bladder and small simple cyst on right kidney. I notice in certain positions my chest has huge spasm, while in car, or a hard sneeze or cough.

Brief Answer:
Not related to breech birth.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The pain and spasms that you have can be related to costochondritis. A breech birth does not cause costochondritis. Inflammation of costochondral joints is mostly due to a genetic predisposition. There are some autoimmune disorders also which need to be ruled out for their association like- fibromyalgia, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis reactive arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease (such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease).

Pain killers, anti-inflammatory drugs- steroids and lidocaine patch are the main treatments. You need discuss all options available with your orthopedist for proper treatment.
Meanwhile doing a hot compresses will be useful pain relieving measure. You may apply a local analgesic gel on that area.

I hope this answers your query. In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out. Wishing you good health.
