Less likely. Tell some more details.

Hi,

Although in this scenario, there is less likely chances of anything serious inside the head; however, to answer the query in a better way, I would like to ask some details-

1)Did you lose consciousness for sometime after you hit your head?

2)Any history of dizziness or vomiting after the event?

3)Any other symptoms except cold and headache?

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

No sir, lose of consciousness was not there at all, some numbness feeling was there for few hours no history of dizziness or vomiting, other than cold and headache no significant symptoms only the cold is continuing for two weeks with headache, recently my brother got expired because of a severe head injury may be that is the cause of my fear.

Brief Answer:

Doesn’t look like serious

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

In view of your history, it is highly unlikely that there may be a damage inside your cranium and CT scan doesn’t appear to be mandatory.

However, if you are too worried, you may visit a neurologist for examination.

Brief Answer:

Rarely

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

In some circumstances, it may result in chronic issues inside the brain like a chronic subdural hematoma.

However, the chances of same in your case are very less likely depending on the clinical history.

Besides, I would suggest that if the symptoms worsens or persist, you may need to get a CT scan of head.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
