Her diarreah looked like runny tar and had an EXTREMELY foul odor.
What could have caused this?
What could have caused this?
Hello,
Thanks for the follow up.
Tar like stools with foul odor can be due to any underlying pathology as stomach ulcer, Intestinal infections, Chron's disease and may or may not be due to internal bleeding and it requires an immediate intervention.
She might require investigations such as blood profile, stool test and USG (ultrasound) scan of the abdomen which would help in confirmation of the diagnosis.
Consider visiting a Physician for evaluation earliest.
Wishing her Good health!
