Question: Hi, Every time I have a cold, it turns into chest cough or bronchitis. I have a concert in 2 days, and this is extremely scary because it always stays for at least 4 weeks. I read that high dosage of vitamin d3 supplements can help cases of bronchitis.

You should get initial investigations like Chest Xray or even nasal endoscopy after seeing a local doctor. That is a priority.
Vitamin D3 has role in immunity but needed only if it is deficient. Otherwise chances of vit D3 toxicity are high. So first get done vit D3 level and if it is low than start the treatment.
Treatment of vit D 3 deficiency is as follows.
60000 iu vit D3 once in a week for 4 weeks.
Than 1000 iu vit D3 daily for 4 weeks. Than maintenance dose of 250 iu daily.
But better to get done vit D3 level first.
And in my opinion you should take influenza vaccination yearly. As this will protect you against influenza induced cold. And influenza is most common cause for cold.
At present you should start antihistamines for symptomatic relief.
Name of vit D3 tablet is uprise d 3, caldison d3 etc.
