Hello doctor. Thanks a lot for responding. I couldn't explain the whole before. So, I'm 19 years old. Haven't ever been in any kind of sexual behaviour before. But did this for the first time last month.. to be exact, on 27th of October. We kissed for maximum 3 minutes, tongue involved. She or me did not had any cos or wounds in the mouth. I used my mouth on her nipples and then her vagina for a very short time. But i fingered her for around 5 minutes. Apart from this, i didn't even unzip my pants or exposed my penis. I washed my hands and my mouth right after this. But after somedays, i got a message saying this lady is HIV positive.. and the message had some proofs as well (in which the girl i had this session was having some kind of treatment for something in her intestines. Not sure if it is HIV or not) This is when i started getting so much tensed.. I cannot sleep or do any work now. I cannot even laugh or smile properly and I'm getting questioned by friends. May i please know whether I'm in danger or not?
Brief Answer:
Your HIV/STD transmission risk is negligible
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
I can understand your situation.
Timings of activities have no significant index for deciding your risk.
You can say that we were not having any visible abrasions or injuries either in the mouth or finger at the time of sexual intimacy. Sometimes microscopic breaches over the skin or mucous membrane could be there which would not have been noted or felt.
The virus is even smaller than microscopic particles.
Anyhow your activities carry an only negligible risk for HIV. Symptoms will appear in some cases even after 10 years.
It is better to rule out HIV 12 weeks after the exposure with appropriate HIV tests. It will relieve unnecessary mental tension.
