Can Hypopituitarism Lead To Tanned Skin Tone?
Question: I have hypopituitarism with adult onset and probably related to a head injury. I have been on hydrocortisone to treat it, but have recently developed very XXXXXXX skin even though I haven't been in the sun. Also, I have been very tired and my urine doesn't have any color to it. Could these symptoms be related to hypopituitarism and if not, what could be going on?

Usually dark skin is seen in primary adrenal insufficiency and not secondary but to say it for sure i would ask you to attach the result of the below exams:
-Acth and cortisol level ( the last one), electrolytes.
-The MRI report
-The actual dose of hydrocortisone
Would you please inform also about your blood pressure, is it low under treatment with hydrocortisone?

First, the reports attached are too old (September 2016). You need to monitor cortisol level before and after the hydrocortisone dose, to be sure that the dose is right and check the blood pressure.
These are the most important parametrs that give information about the dose of hydrochortisone.
Except for cortisol you need to check ACTH level too. A high action would explain the tanning color you described.
