Can I Start Drinking Water Immediately After Preponik Intake?

Question : i am going to be taking prepopik for a colonoscopy do i immediately start drinking an 8 ounce glass of drink after i take the packet in the water or do i wait an hour to start drinking the 5 8 ounce drinks of liquid within the next 5 hours because then i have to start packet 2 within the same day by 8:00pm finishing another 5 8 ounce glasses i just dont know if you leave an hour break before packet 2 before i start in again ?

There are two regimens of dosing:

Better to wait for one hour to start drinking the five 8 once drinks of clear liquid within the 4 hours , so that you can start the packet 2 by 8 pm. Yes, I think it is better to have some gap of say half to 1 hour.
This is so because the Prepopik is a laxative that works by drawing large amounts of water into your intestines and stimulating the colon.

This causes watery bowel movements (diarrhea). Clearing stool from the intestines helps your doctor to better examine the inside of your colon.

The extra liquid is taken to keep the water balance of the body which is absorbed by the intestines in the meantime.
