Can I Take Betahistine Dihydrochloride For Vertigo Along With Xanax For Anxiety?

Can be used, lowest possible dose.
Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern, vertigo can be very stressing and can increase anxiety.
There are no particular interactions between Betahistine and Alprazolam (Xanax) and at times Alprazolam has been used to treat the anxiety related to vertigo for short periods, so it can be used alongside Betahistine.
Of course you should be careful to potential drowsiness and impaired coordination which at times can follow xanax use and added to vertigo can impair your functioning. So the lowest possible dose should be used, if that 0.5mg is an extended release formulation then it can be used (usually labelled Xanax XR), but if it is an immediate release form then I think it would be wiser to try half that dose, 0.25 mg only first.
I remain at your disposal for further questions.
