Brief Answer:
A recurrent boil in the nose needs medical attention.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for writing back.
1. This ares (comprising the lower half of the nose, vestibule and the upper lip) is known as the dangerous area of the face as unlike the rest of the face, the blood drains into the eye and brain before it goes back to the heart. Hence infections can spread rapidly.
2. You need to take antibiotics every time, though under medical supervision.
3. Some times it can be a blocked gland or a hair follicle. Get the site checked by an ENT Specialist. Get a blood test to rule out diabetes. A nasal swab will help identify the causative organism.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Thanks for the detailed response doctor.
It certainly is caused by the same bacteria as my scalp as I've been having these on and off past a year .
I've got one white boil on my upper lip and one small one inside nostril.
What anti biotics do you recommend me to start with ?
As per my last test rifampin and linezolid were reactive . Since I would be able to get a doctors appointment only after 12 hours I'd like to know if I should start any anti biotics right away .
I don't have a copy of my last test report.
