Can I Travel By Flight With Iliac Aneurysm?

Question: I had an iliac aneurysm diagnosed by CT scan three weeks ago. I have an appointment with a vascular surgeon in one month. Should I be concerned about at two hour flight in two weeks?

Aneurysm in large vessels are generally due to atherosclerotic changes.Atherosclerosis causes weakening of blood vessels and it lead to aneurysm.

Generally aneurysm are stable in nature but they are more prone to rupture caused by trauma etc.

There is no problem in flight journey as these are jerk less journey.But,you should take precautions like avoid excessive straining and hard work.

You should take your medicines regularly.
