Yes or no?
can an empty syringe be cause of death?
Brief Answer:
Depends on the volume of air injected.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for query.
I've gone through your details.
The lethal dose of intravascular air in humans is unknown, but accidental injections of between 100 and 300 ml have been fatal. So if the air injected by empty syringe was more then 100 ml you need to go to the emergency room otherwise there is no need to worry.
Thank you!
