Ok, but my gynecologist (who just diagnosed the Anemia) prescribed an (over the counter) bottle of Iron pills 65/mg, with a recommendation for 325 mg/per day, hmmm?. I guess that would be, say (5×65=325) daily? Slightly confused! I read somewhere where 27/mg was the daily recommended allowance, ???. I hope I don't sound too confused. THANKS
Brief Answer:
Two tablets daily
Detailed Answer:
No dear I understand your question completely but guidelines are to give 100 tablets of 100 mg in each pregnancy which is doubled in anaemia.
So if you take 65 mg tablets then take two tablets daily for 5-6 months that is till your delivery daily.
Don't take 5 tabs a day which is obviously very tedious.
I hope I made it all clear to you.
Take care
