Can It Be Muscle Spams Dehydration ?
Question: Hello, I missed my period (late two weeks) and I have a funny feeling in the abdomen that occurs from time to time (like if there was a delicate soda bubbles, or sth was moving there. It doesn't hurt. What is it? Can it be muscle spams? dehydration ? or maybe sth else? I was doing some plants trimming a week ago that are located uphill and was using a lot of muscles I am not used to but I am not sure if I can explain it this way .... There was some stress going on too (moving to another location etc...) It doesn't hurt and is not in the pelvis area - definitely abdomen. Please help ....
Brief Answer:
Missed periods
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query,
First week as a belief if you are sexually active and having missed your periods by two weeks it would be important for you to get a urine pregnancy test done to rule out pregnancy first. If pregnancy test turns out to be negative then there is a likelihood that the present symptoms of bloating and something popping in the abdomen could be due to progestin withdrawal effects and that would indicate that probably you would get your menses sooner. however if the discomfort is purely located to the epigastric area then dyspepsia or acute gastritis are the most common causes of causing these symptoms.
