Can It Be Related To The Intake Of Cortisone Since Diagnosed With Hypochondyracic ?

Question: hi, I'm a 32-year-old boy with a diagnosed hypochondyracic disorder, currently in fact I am on sertraline therapy, for 3 weeks I have a light and short-lasting diffuse headache, looking on the internet I found links with brain tumor, later I was visited by a neurologist who found me perfectly normal diagnosing a tension headache, and he prescribed me betamethasone for 3 days, currently I am on the second day of therapy, the headache has almost disappeared, but unfortunately always for 2 days I have a persistent hiccup that passes only after I drink lots of water. now in addition to hiccups I have a bit of a sore throat. hiccups often occur when I am toxic or when I burp .. I don't think it is a problem of esophageal reflux because I have been on pantoprazole 40mg therapy for a long time .... what do you think of this strange hiccup? ... my hypochondria leads to associate it with brain tumors ... you say that I can feel comfortable? it can be related to the intake of cortisone .... and if I have to treat it with some drug?
please help me

Brief Answer:
Hiccups do not suggest brain tumor.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your clinical details. I would like to reassure you that presence of hiccups are not suggestive of brain tumor. Hiccups could be related to intake of cortisone. For relief from hiccups, you could take perinorm or baclofen tablets. It should settle down in a few days. if symptoms persist, a gastroenterologist opinion may be taken.
