Itching is very common in dengue that too from 5 or 6th day of illness and it persists for 3-4 days.
I would recommend in such case daily platelet monitoring along with Tab Atarax 10 mg thrice a day till symptom persists.
Local application of Calomine lotion also helps.

No fever in dengue with platelets at 120000 and WBC only 2000. Is it serious ? While drinking water it is tasteing bitter ( kadwa) and stomach ache too, slight pneumonia in chest X-ray. Is my son going to be alright , or is he in danger. Especially no fever ? 2 days back it was 2.5 degree and platelets were 190,000
Brief Answer:
Monitor platelets
Detailed Answer:
See, in dengue fever, platelet counts reduces after the fever subsides. So, you need to get his platelets checked everyday till they start increasing.
Oral rehydration solution should be given to him regularly.
A combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone would help in pain abdomen.
If he is passing black tarry stools, get his stool for occult blood done.
Make sure he is under vigilance of a Physician even on OPD basis, so if your Physician feels need of admission at any point of time, he can be admitted.
I wish him a speedy recovery.

I am glad to know he is recovering. I must say actually he's in the process of getting recovered.
Post dengue weakness persists for a few weeks. Give him a multivitamin like Cap Neurokind Gold once daily for 2-3 weeks.
He can take threptin biscuits.
He can comfortably travel too.
No other special diet/medicines required.
