Can Kestine 10 Mg Use To Anti Histamine Relieves The Symptoms?

Question: Dear Dr. Sb

AA

The following symptoms have increased in the last 2 to 3 months:

1. Dizziness / Brain fog with slight pressure on temples
2. Anxiety
3. Weakness in legs
4. Bloating
5. Gas (if I sneeze, I feel better)
6. Face flushed
7. Dry mouth

It is difficult for me to work. Most of the time, anti histamine (kestine 10 mg) relieves the symptoms.

I have IBS, anxiety, Gilbert's syndrome, vitamin D deficiency, and possibly histamine intolerance.

All blood tests (CP, RFT, urine, stool, thyroid, calcium, sugar are clear except LFT with slightly raised biluribin). BP is normally low. But pulse is usually fast.

I am taking
1. Prozac one daily
2. Alp 0.5 mg 1+1+1
3. Levopraid 25mg 1+1
4. Inhibitol one daily
5. Kestine SOS

I have completed 4 capsules of vitamin D (2 lacs) in 1 month.

Please advise.

Regards
doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

1. Dizziness/Brain fog with slight pressure on temples: These symptoms could be related to various factors, including tension headaches, sinus issues, or even anxiety.

2. Anxiety: Anxiety can cause a wide range of physical symptoms, including dizziness, weakness, and a flushed face.

3. Weakness in legs: Weakness in the legs could have numerous causes, including muscle fatigue, nerve issues.

4. Bloating: Bloating is a common symptom associated with various digestive issues, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), food intolerances, or gastrointestinal disorders. Given your history of IBS, it may be worth exploring dietary modifications.

5. Gas (feeling better after sneezing): Sneezing might temporarily relieve pressure in the abdominal area, but it is not a reliable or sustainable method for managing symptoms. Identifying the underlying cause of the gas and addressing it would be more appropriate.

6. Face flushed: Facial flushing can be a result of various factors, including anxiety, medications, hormonal changes, or even an allergic reaction.

7. Dry mouth: Dry mouth can be a side effect of certain medications, anxiety, dehydration, or even underlying medical conditions. Ensuring proper hydration.
