Question: if you're suffering from diabetes can that be cause from having degenerative arthritis due to lack of exercising?

In this condition, there is insulin resistance and lack of insulin production. Lack of exercise can contribute to the development of this kind of diabetes if you are overweight and if you have a family history of diabetes. Which joint arthritis do you have? Swimming is a kind of exercise which do not put pressure on knees and spine and this is recommended in people with arthritis. Any form of exercise is good. Even simple shaking of legs and arm exercise are all important. So don't worry if you can not walk or run. Your doctor and Physiotherapist can suggest the best suited exercise for you.
