Can Lesions Spread In Gentilia Upon Contact When Diagnosed With HSV?

Question: I am suffering from an outbreak of hsv, and wanted to go swimming, so used a tampon. Im concerned now that as the active lesion is close to the opening the tampon will have rubbed against it and will cause lesions to be spread inside the vagina.

Is there anything i can do now? Or is it too late to prevent the possibility?

The lesions can spread inside the vagina as the tampon might have rubbed against the lesions on the vaginal orifice.
The virus on the hsv lesions can easily spread by contact or rubbing.
The infecting virus on the lesions can spread to the inside of the vagina by the tampon.
I suggest you to consult your OBGYN if the lesions appear in inside of vagina.
