Brief Answer:
NO HARMFUL EFFECT ON BABY.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

NO, loud noise or music (1-2 times) DOESN'T cause any kind of harmful effects to your unborn baby. Your baby is well protected inside the womb and habituated with different sounds in the body. However, regular loud movies or music is NOT good for your health.

Hope, above information is quite helpful to you. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and successful motherhood.

Brief Answer:
DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for follow up query.

1) Regular loud noise or movies is NOT good for your health. However, baby will be well protected inside womb and there will be NO problem (most case) at this stage. I suggest to AVOID continuous loud noise during pregnancy period to be in safe.

You can feel problem like hearing impairment, vertigo, nausea, anxiety, irritation, psychological upset etc due to continuous heavy or loud noise (above 85 db).

2) You can watch one movie per week with loud noise in cinema hall. It is quite permissible.

3) Yes, baby can listen external sound at 18 weeks inside womb and make some movement according to type and loudness of sound.

Hope, above information is quite helpful to you. Kindly, close the discussion.

All the best and good luck.

Regards,
Dr Soumen
