Can Milk Lumps Disappear During Breastfeeding?
Question: anytime i take milk product i get lump and later it disappear sametimes on my jaws and part of my body why do lumps sometimes disappear i get one on my breast it disappear 7 months later why?
Brief Answer:
Lymph node enlargement is my best guess.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Without looking at the lump and examining it, I confess to saying that I cannot confirm the cause.
However, my best guess is that the lumps could be related to a swollen lymph node.
Lymph nodes are commonly found under the jaw, armpits around the breast as well as groin regions.
And lymph node swelling is commonly due to inflammatory reasons and not concerning.
I would request you to see a doctor or post pictures of the lumps when you develop one.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

i did a lyphocytes test it was 43 and a complete blood count everything was fine but why do lumps keeps long to disappear i dont feel any pain to it sometimes take months and year then it goes away on it own why milk product causes this
Brief Answer:
A physical examination is more appropriate.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Blood tests are not convincing investigation tools to confirm a lymph node swelling or to identify the precise cause of lymph node swelling.
Therefore your previous blood reports don't add to any significance.
And there is no direct relation between milk and lymph node swelling. But allergy leading to inflammatory changes in the throat and ear may be a cause of jaw lymph nodes swellings.
At this point, kindly note that the opinion I gave is the best I could think off, but it's still a guess. A physical examination is mandatory.

Brief Answer:
Consider visiting a doctor first.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Before we discuss about prevention, it is important that we diagnose this lump rightly. Your description sounds like lymph node enlargements to me.
But I insist you to see a doctor who can confirm / diagnose the condition through a good clinical examination.
As far as parlodel is concerned, the drug is known to cause hormone prolactin disturbance. It may not be related to those lumps though.

Brief Answer:
Usually, surgery is not indicated.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
As I mentioned earlier, the most common cause of lymph node swelling is an infection. And we treat such infections with antibiotics. Did you mean you were given Flucloxacillin?
Flucloxacillin is an antibiotic and that's to treat the infection.
As infection relents, lymph node swelling will gradually regress. The rate of regression is gradual and not instant. Therefore it is natural that those swelling will over a period of time reduce and go away.
Surgery is not indicated if the cause is inflammation/infection.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
