Brief Answer:
Best not to interfere with the normal cycle

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for asking...

Pills that modify the menstrual cycle are usually birth control pills, which may delay or altogether stop the period, however, it is not recommended for young teens to use them.

A recent study, done on teenage girls ages 12-15 who use different forms of birth control (pills, injections, Nuvaring and implant, shows significant side effects such as decreased bone density, a change in brain structure and increased risk for depression. These effects have been attributed to both the synthetic hormones themselves and the girls' impaired levels of estrogen and progesterone, caused by birth control.

So, my advise is to not interfere with the normal cycle, as this would have an unnecessary negative effect on a young growing body.

I hope this answers your query.
