Brief Answer:
Chance of pregnancy is less and please wait for a week from expected date

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX gadge,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. An emergency pill has high level of hormones and therefore can cause early or delayed periods in most women who consume it.

2. If she took the ECP after 24 hours then the level of protection is around 60 to 75 percent.

3. It is also true that anxiety can cause delayed periods.

4. Keeping in mind the above situation, it is suggested that she avoid stress and anxiety and wait for bleeding to occur till a week after her expected date of periods.

5. If bleeding does not occur even after a week from the expected date of periods then she should do a home pregnancy test at least 15 days after the sexual event.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
