Brief Answer:
Another cycle of IUI can be done

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for your query.

I have read you query and I understand your concerns about IUI / IVF.

Following is my reply:

1) Considering your age and failed IUI cycles it is better you try another cycle of IUI.

2) Request your doctor to use gonadotrophin injections for improving follicle number. Gonadotrophin injections will help you to achieve higher pregnancy rates in an IUI cycle.

3) If you dont succeed in next IUI cycle go ahead with IVF without wasting further time.

4) Remember age is more important than anything else. Younger the age, better the success rate of IUI / IVF.

I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.

Let me know if you wish to ask any further questions. I will be glad to help you.

Regards,
Dr. Soumya

Brief Answer:
Twins possible

Detailed Answer:
HI,

I understand your worries.

IVF costs around 1 to 2 lakh rupees depending upon injections and protocols used.

If IVF specialist transfers more than one embryo, there are twin possibilities. Otherwise I dont see twin possibilities if only one embryo is transferred.

Success rate in IVF is between 30 to 60 percent which depends on embryo quality and various other factors.

Let me know in which city you stay so that I can refer you a good IVF Specialist.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Tests for ovarian reserve

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You can have 2 embryos transferred for twin pregnancy. It cannot be guaranteed if it will be boy and girl only.

You can do following tests on day2 of cycle for assessing egg reserve:

1) FSH

2) AMH

These tests will help in identifying the egg reserve.

I dont know good doctors in MP to refer you. You need to find yourself.

Brief Answer:
Go ahead with IVF if you dont succeed in IUI

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

These are blood tests to be done on second day of your cycle.

Keep doing diet and exercise. Its best way to go ahead with weight loss programme.

If you dont succeed in next IUI, go ahead with IVF / ICSI without wasting further time.
