Can One Opt For LASIK Surgery While Having -2.0 Power In Both The Eyes?

Question: I have spectacles. having power - 2.0 for both eyes.
Shall I undergo eye surgery for removal of spectacles.
Please suggest!!

Hello,
Lasik surgery can correct vision for many people. Some people can completely get rid of their eye glasses after the surgery and some will still need to wear reading glasses. If you wear glasses and want to get rid of them you will need a complete evaluation by a ophthalmologist that performs lasik surgery to see if you qualify.

Sorry but I am a US doctor and do not know about insurance coverage in XXXXXXX However you should be able to call your insurance company and find out if lasik is covered.
