Hi,
Thanks for your question.
I would not know any reason for not being given BCG.
Brain aneurysm should not be a contraindication for BCG treatment.
Please do let me know details of what aneurysm you have.
Take care and do let me know the details and you CT report if you have for the aneurysms.

My husband had an intracranial hemorrhage or cerebral infarction. Principal diagnosis was subarachnoid hemmorage. Secondary was musculoskeletal symptoms referable to limbs and specified visual disturbance. He was hospitalized about 15 days. He also has a familial history of anueryms in the family. I have read so many websites that say BCG for bladder cancer can't be taken because of certain aneurysms. It states could cause a proximal aortic aneurysm. I cannot seem to find a conculsive answer. Thanks for follow up answer.
Brief Answer:
Does he have any aneurysms presently?

Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
Does he have any aneurysms presently?
Has any CT Angiogram been done. Do let me know if he is in follow up for any aneurysm in his body.
If not, then you can go ahead with BCG treatment if the Hemorrhage episode was more than a year ago.
Take care and do let me know if any CT Scan has been done.
