Yes,we can use Optiray XXXXXXX in place of Omnipaque during fluoroscopy.There is no problem at all.
Both are iodine containing contrast media and widely used as contrast media.
Optiray contains ioversol wheras omnipaque contains iohexol.Both are non ionic contrast media and causes very less side effects.
Both contrast media are widely used in arthrogram,epidural injection,SNRB(selective nerve root block) and soft tissue to confirm needle placement.
