Can Osteoarthritis In My Hips Aggravate To Other Joints Too?
Seems to be interrelated, please see the detailed answer below
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Yes, osteoarthritis does affect the other joints as well.
However, if the X-ray findings didn't reveal anything further evaluation should be done (MRI scans of the knee). The wrist joint may or may not be related to this though...At this outset, a few other tests (eg. Hemogram, ESR, CRP, Rh factor and Uric acid levels) should be done to rule out any associated Rheumatological component.
Please note, Fibromyalgia itself is associated with generalized body ache while Syringomyelia can cause also the pain in certain areas of nerve supply (depending on the extent and spinal level where it's affected).
Please discuss with your doctor regarding these additional issues and proceed further.
Let me know I can assist you further. Take Care.
