Brief Answer:
More details needed

Detailed Answer:
Hallow Dear,

There are some possibilities:

1. She may have developed some adhesions inside the abdomen.

2. She could have contacted some infection in the scar or in the abdomen.

3. There could be recurrence of the twist.

It depends upon the following factors:

1. What surgery was done? - Removal of the ovary, cyst or just untwisting the cyst?

2. Where is the pain? - Inside the abdomen or in the scar? Is the pain related to any specific activity like sex, eating, etc.?

3. What is her age? Is the pain related to menses?

Please provide me with the information about these details and then I can provide you some guidance.

Meanwhile for relief from the pain, she may take some pain killers.

Please also report to the Gynaecologist who operated on her.

For any more clarifications and information, I am always available for you.
